Your $500 deposit reserves a quarter and is applied toward the final balance.

$4.99/lb. based on the animal's hanging weight. A quarter typically weighs 200 - 230 pounds.

The beef is processed at Maurer's Meat Processors in Ubly, MI.  Maurer's will contact you after the processing date regarding your cut and packaging preferences.  A processing fee of $0.90/pound will be paid separately to the processor and not included in the cost of your beef. 

Once the animal has been processed, Strieter Hay Farms will contact you and send an invoice for the remaining balance due. 

To purchase a half beef, simply add two quarter-beef shares to your cart.

Optional Beef Delivery

Customer pickup is available at Maurer’s Meat Packing in Ubly, Michigan.

For customers located 60–100 miles from Ubly, we may offer a public meet-up location closer to your home for an additional fee.

• 60–79 miles from Ubly: $150

• 80–100 miles from Ubly: $200

Delivery is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance. Meet-ups will take place at an agreed-upon public location near the customer’s home rather than residential delivery. Delivery is not available beyond 100 miles from Ubly.
